VAL-CO® International Cooperative Advertising Program

VAL-CO® is making available credit for certain eligible international resellers of VAL-CO product to be used towards certain marketing expenses like trade show participation and co-branded advertisements.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up to participate in this Program, agreeing to the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Purchase and pay for more than USD $50,000 worth of VAL-CO products directly from VAL-CO (any combination of USA, Shanghai, India, Holland locations) in a calendar year.
  3. The following calendar year VAL-CO will make available Cooperative Advertising Credits for your company equal to USD $500 plus ½% of prior year paid sales in excess of USD $50,000 e.g. for USD $250,000 in paid sales in 2020 available credits of USD $1,500
  4. You submit an invoice to VAL-CO for a percentage of an eligible advertising expense (50%) or trade show (% VAL-CO floor space) to be credited back to your account
    1. For an advertisement – submit the invoice you received from the advertising provider showing the total amount paid, a copy of the actual advertisement, and an invoice from you to VAL-CO for 50% of the total amount paid.
      1. Note the NO COMPETITOR branding or products may be present in any advertisement turned in for VAL-CO Cooperative Advertising credit
    2. For promotional items e.g. branded jackets, pens, notebooks, hats, etc. – submit the invoice you received from the item provider showing the total amount paid, a photo or proof of the actual item(s), and an invoice from you to VAL-CO for 50% of the total amount paid.
      1. Note the NO COMPETITOR branding or products may be present on any promotional item expense turned in for VAL-CO Cooperative Advertising credit
    3. For a trade show – submit the paid invoice to you from the trade show organizer showing the total amount paid to participate, a photo of the booth showing percentage of floor space dedicated to VAL-CO equipment, and an invoice from your company to VAL-CO equal to the percentage amount of floor space used for VAL-CO equipment. g. if 20% of the booth held VAL-CO equipment you would invoice VAL-CO for 20% of the total booth expense.
  5. For promotional items VAL-CO-branded only – VAL-CO has a selection of items pre-made with the VAL-CO brand only – these may be ordered and reimbursed at 100% of cost up to total available funds. Please ask your salesperson for more information or to order.
  6. You can submit all documents by email directly to MARCOM@val-co.com
  7. VAL-CO will credit your account up to the current total available cooperative advertising credits and send a credit memo to you.

Fine Print:  Available Cooperative Advertising Credits expire at the end of each calendar year.  Unused credits have no cash value and may not be redeemed.  This program supersedes and replaces any and all prior arrangements between individual international resellers and VAL-CO regarding trade show and other advertising credits.

FOR THE INTRODUCTORY YEAR (2020) half of the amount will be made available for the remainder of the calendar year.
